Integrated EC/EO to remove COD/BOD from POME

Our Hybrid Electro-Chemical technology, which combines electro-coagulation and electro-oxidation processes, is a groundbreaking approach. This novel technology is a promising alternative for the treatment of Palm Oil Mill Effluent (POME), promoting sustainability in the palm oil sector. Its efficiency extends to the efficient removal of numerous impurities found in greywater, making it a versatile solution.

This approach is cost-effective, especially for treating POME, which is recognised for its high levels of oil, grease, suspended particles, and various organic and inorganic contaminants. By addressing these components, it greatly contributes to environmental preservation and adherence to industry requirements.

Our Hybrid Electro-Chemical method effectively removes odours and discoloration from wastewater, improving the quality of the treated effluent. This technology effectively deals with the intricate makeup of POME and also tackles wider wastewater issues, proving to be a useful resource in encouraging sustainable and ecologically conscious practices in the palm oil industry.

Ammonia Treatment

Ammonia treatment technology

Firas 3nergy and its technology partner are revolutionizing conventional practices by providing unique solutions to enhance wastewater quality in many sectors such as municipal, industrial, drinking water, mining, and petrochemicals Ammonia is harmful to fish and other aquatic organisms and is a significant concern at all municipal wastewater treatment facilities worldwide Most individuals convert ammonium to nitrate, which is a carcinogen They dispose of it in water bodies such as streams, lakes, and groundwater This mechanism will inhibit it.

The system is completely automated, able to be monitored remotely, and has a very compact size The system can lower ammonia levels in many types of water, such as waste water, storm water, sewage effluent, and mining waste water, down below 1 ppm The use of wastewater is not restricted to municipal purposes and may also be utilized in businesses such as manufacturing, biogas, and fertilizer production, among others The system can convert ammonia into nitrogen gas without creating contaminants like nitrate or nitrous oxide.

It also generates green hydrogen as a source of revenue and chlorine gas as a byproduct for disinfection, which may be utilized in drinking water Hydrogen generated in the process may be used for a variety of purposes, including as fuel for vehicles and local energy generation Our main objective is to ensure the global implementation of this technology as we are dedicated to the net zero emission effort.
