It also indicates the opening of container doors. The technology gathers and stores real-time tracking data, then sends it worldwide via GSM/GPRS networks that span over 200 nations and vessels. The STS functions without requiring retrieval and return, which eliminates costs related to human retrieval, conveyance, and reconfiguration. Furthermore, customers can use the device until the battery is completely drained and then discard it, guaranteeing uninterrupted performance until the energy is used up.
